He dipped his hands into the depths of the small oval bowl that sat on the wooden desk beside him, filled to the brim with icy cold water and small half-melted ice cubes.

Tails grabbed the elbow of a peach-colored arm, forcing the retreating figure of his brother to pause at the entrance to the multicolored bi-plane. The owner of said peach-colored arm breathed deeply through his nose, using the hand that was currently unoccupied to pinch the space between his eyes.
